6.1. Guarantee of lawful and secure processing of personal data

6.2. Right to access/correct/delete your personal data
Upon verification of your identity as a User, you have the right to obtain clarification from TechBiM regarding the processing of your personal data. When TechBiM processes your data, you also have the right to access the collected personal data. If you wish to exercise your right to access, TechBiM will comply within one (1) month of receiving the request. The application is submitted via registered mail or by sending an email to info@techbim.be.
Inaccurate or incomplete personal data can always be rectified. It is the User’s responsibility to rectify any inaccuracies and omissions themselves in the first instance. You may exercise your right to rectification by providing an additional statement to TechBiM. TechBiM will comply with this within one (1) month after receiving the supplementary statement.
You also have the right to request the erasure of your personal data by us without undue delay. You may only invoke the right to be forgotten in the following cases:
When the personal data is no longer required for the purposes for which it was originally collected;
When the personal data has been collected based on obtained consent and no other legal basis exists for the processing;
When an objection is raised against the processing and there are no overriding legitimate grounds for the processing;

TechBiM assesses the presence of any of the aforementioned cases.
6.3. Right to restrict or object to the processing of your personal data
The user has the right to obtain a restriction on the processing of their personal data.
During the period required by TechBiM to verify the accuracy of the personal data, in the event of a dispute;
When the data processing is unlawful and the User requests a restriction of processing instead of the deletion of personal data;
When TechBiM no longer requires the personal data of the User for processing purposes, and the User needs the personal data for a legal claim;
During the period that TechBiM requires to assess the grounds for the erasure of personal data.
The user also has the right to object to the processing of their personal data at any time. TechBiM will subsequently cease the processing of your personal data, unless TechBiM can present compelling legitimate grounds for the processing of your personal data that override the User’s right to object.

6.4. Right to data portability
The user has the right to obtain the personal data provided to TechBiM in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format. In addition, the User has the right to transfer this personal data to another data controller when the processing of the personal data is based solely on the consent obtained from the User.

6.5. Right to withdraw my consent/right to lodge a complaint
The user has the right to withdraw their consent at any time. The withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of the processing based on the consent prior to its withdrawal. Furthermore, the User has the right to lodge a complaint regarding the processing of their personal data by TechBiM with the Belgian Commission for the Protection of Privacy.
